George Mason University
Giving Day
To create buzz and encourage participation in Mason’s first annual ‘Giving Day’, we created a campaign (video and social media) around the concept of ‘Small Can Be Big’.
For 24 hours, people came out in droves to support the university in any way they could. $5, $10, it all adds up to school pride and a whole lot more.
Branding
Mason had a perception problem. Lots of people still thought of them as a sleepy commuter school. An advertising campaign that lets Mason’s brand personality and confidence shine through while avoiding higher ed clichés was just the antidote.

Amazon WaPo
In anticipation of Amazon coming to the D.C. region and, hopefully, partnering with Mason’s School of Engineering, we reached out to them in a neighborly way through an ad that ran in The Washington Post.

Admissions
The Admissions department at George Mason University had a problem. It lacked a unified marketing effort and, as a result, there was no brand voice, no consistent message. I, along with my art director partner, created a singular admissions campaign for undergrads, transfers and graduate students from 130 countries and all 50 states in a voice that encourages them to take an active role in their education.

Sexual Assault Awareness
Instead of focusing on the negative of sexual assault, this campaign focuses on the positive of sexual consent.

George Mason University is halfway through it's five-year fundraising campaign to raise capital. These ads were created to run at targeted D.C. metro stations, where many Mason alumni live and work.

Videos
For 2017, our holiday video highlighted Mason's diversity and inclusiveness. It definitely struck a chord as likes and shares reached an all-time high.
Bobblehead George goes full-on patriotic for the Fourth of July and has an out-of-this-world experience that was a huge hit (s) with students.
Stay out of the woods and beware of sharp objects! Bobblehead George ignores this wise advice on Halloween. Watch at our own risk.
Mason’s campus was recently invaded by robots, initially creating pandemonium. But these guys came in peace. Their only intention is to deliver cappuccinos and pizza across campus so students don’t have to get out of their jammies.
Mason’s branding spot for TV highlights students and their diverse range of interests. No wall-to-wall copy and students throwing a Frizbee like most university commercials. Just great footage and a cool track.
In anticipation of the start of basketball season, we created a video to show students and even the university president, getting psyched for the first big game. Go Patriots!
Bus Wraps
Mason students go farther than they ever dreamed possible. Wrapped shuttles that cruise along Route 66 speed them on their way.
